You probably know this already, but the internet is now an expanding and vital part of our lives. I myself can't live without it. I communicate with half a dozen friends who are living abroad at this moment, and the rest elsewhere in the US. I watch videos, listen to music and read sports updates. Work wise, I communicate with work colleagues, I'm occasionally involved with video sessions thanks to my Logitech software. I'm able to transfer valuable files and documents across the world, extract data from my research online and even hold presentations while at home.
I use Google and I'm lucky enough to have odd working hours, so it's very easy for me to send emails to my mates, who reply in the same manner. Straight forward as they are also work in front of a computer.
What I love is my ability to do all this with a wireless router. So on a hot sunny day, I can go outside with a nice cool fruit punch and sit out on the porch, the views not all that brilliant but you get my drift. The only down side with this freedom is its limited range. It's like being free but having a chain on, you're only as free as the chain. Doesn't make sense does it.
I then got this tingly sensation when I heard about the G4 and what it could do. Basically, the G4 is an enhanced version of our normal routers. So, instead of a household wireless router, there's huge wireless station 'routers' which act the same, you're able to switch on and connect to the internet via the signals given off from the station. Great. All you need to a G4 subscription as well as a data card and you're away.
