Well you really have to congratulate Steve Jobs don't you. I mean Apple has over delivered again with the exceptional iPad.
I remember when I brought my first iPod Nano 3 years ago where I was blown away with the functions, easy of use and the size of it, or lack of. Well today is not too different from that day as I sit and write this article with my shiny new iPad 3GS. This little baby really compliments my arsenal of apple devices - I can now officially say that I am all Mac'd up! The question now for me is, do I go naked with my iPad, or do I skin it up with a slick screen protector?

I constantly take special notice of people and their electronic devices to see whether they use protection so to speak. It is like a little obsessive-compulsive thing for me. You see I just can't understand why people would invest money outright, or lock themselves into a payment plan for a device that literally costs them a small fortune and then treat it like they just don't care. I am sure you have seen examples of phones and laptops that have had the absolute ringer flogged out of them. I just don't get it.
Now if I put my eloquent design hat on and project my favour towards being slick and sophisticated, then I would probably prefer the to leave my iPad with no clothes on. Hey you have got to admit that they are a sexy little unit right? Only if they were no risk of damaging it - yeah as if... I know I'm dreaming!
On the other hand being as fussy about looking after things as I am, I probably should opt to buy a fully-fledged case, which leads me to my next point. How darn ugly are they? Not to mention how big and bulky the unit now becomes, making it almost impossible to fit in any sensible sized brief case. This can be annoying when you are trying to be organised and are tight for space.
But let's face it, regardless of that minor annoyance, if you can preserve the condition of your iPad with good quality protection then guess what? Bingo - you can sell it for more money when it is time to upgrade to the new model. I guess that is why I can't understand how people let their electronic devices deteriorate to a point of no return.
What I really need is a total shield over the entire device, front and back, that is transparent, does not affect the size of the unit and is effective. It has to be almost like it does not exist - but is as strong as a physical iPad case.
Well I am pleased to say that this morning I found such as thing. I discovered an iPad Screen Protector that fits the build perfectly. I have never seen anything like this before. Heck these guys even get a dremel grinder and grind onto the face of the iPad Screen, then pull the screen protector off to leave NO scratches on the iPad Screen. And its paper-thin.
So for me, protecting my iPad is very important for 2 reasons: 1/. I won't get upset about ugly scratches on it (being a perfectionist), 2/. I will be able to preserve its value and sell it for more!
Check out the iPad Screen Protector Test Video - it will blow you away! I placed my order today and I am told it will be here in less than a week. I can't wait!
